Living With Uncertainty
I had recently published an article on LinkedIn to help address how you can deal with uncertainty, especially with the recent outbreak of COVID-19. Times like these are when our mental & physical strength are tested the most, but staying cool & calm is how we can all get through this. I have attached the article below for you & your loved ones to read.

I know that we’re all experiencing some type of unease during this recent outbreak. And, keeping life straight may be a juggle, but it’s the best personal practice for strengthening our mindset when you’re in the uncertainty.
So, I wanted to put together some notes for you & your loved ones on three areas to reaffirm, reframe, or redesign that may help you during uncertainty:
1. Have ANCHORS to respond to stressful uncertainty. Do you have the right “team” or support group that aligns you when you need help?
Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and alone is not how you want to feel in times like these. So, I highly recommend that you have the proper support group so that you can power your instincts to maintain bravery. Also, when you exercise compassion & empathy as strengths to morally uplift others, they keep you in that space of positive emotional management.
Have anchors & be there for each other ... it keeps all of us together.
2. Adjust your MINDSET. When you change your response to uncertainty, you have the power to shift the potential outcomes (growth mindset vs. fixed mindset). Maintain that mental strength and continue practicing mental toughness.
But you may ask how one can create such outcomes during such uncertain times?
Well, look at your inner self ... Know and live your “why” and purpose. This allows you to continue moving forward—as you are providing reassurance to you and your mental health. Additionally, manage the “what ifs.” What I mean by this is by having that backup option to provide as a safety net: can I bring a new idea to fruition, or move to plan b?
3. Commit to STAYING YOUR LANE. With uncertainty, there can be multiple variables presented to you all at once, which can be quite overwhelming. Adjust your roadmap and priorities and focus on what you have control over.
This can be done by staying engaged with your plans if the road is clear to do so, assessing your progress along the way.
